Dress - NEW AGE QUEEN*
Sandals - Topshop
Bag - eBay (I think - its very old!)

A few weeks ago I picked out some pieces from the site New Age Queen, What caught my eye immediately was this tribal patterned neon dress, I especially love the criss-cross straps and thought it would look beautiful with a tan too.
I am OBSESSED with this dress now, You know when you have to actively stop yourself from wearing something everyday? Its light and flowy, perfect for the heatwave we had here in the UK.
I went for very simple styling because it was so hot on the day and I just chucked on some sandals. I picked up a few things on the Kings road too which I might style on the blog soon!

Marc Jacobs HONEY

Hey guys,

I had the opportunity recently to try the newest fragrance from MarcJacobs, 'Honey'. I am a massive perfume fan and have built up quite a collection, its quite an obsession of mine so I was excited to see what this latest offering was like. I love MarcJacobs perfumes in particular and one of my all-time favourites is 'Daisy'.
This perfume is much sweeter and a little more vibrant than Daisy, To me this is defiantly a daytime scent and is perfect for summer. It lives up to its name and has a distinct honey twinge which I adore as I love honey and honey scented/flavoured things in general!
If you like quite a light, girly, playful & young perfume you should defiantly try this out, Its unlike any other perfume I own - Many in my collection seem to be quite similar but this one is distinctive.
Aesthetically the bottle is the cutest thing - round, dotted, yellow and studded with decroative pearl bees, It looks adorable on my dressing table.

There is a fun Instagram competition running at the moment with the MarcJacobs 'Honey' fragrance, To join in just post an image of your own Honey spots and the hashtag #MJHONEYSPOTS

HOW IT WORKS:
1. Take a picture of your #MJHONEYSPOT on Instagram
2. Tag photo with #MJHONEYSPOTS and name the location of the spot
3. Post picture and you're automatically entered

Honey is a sunny delicious floral - happy and energetic, with a touch of the unexpected. Meet MarcJacobs new Honey and discover #MJHONEYSPOTS at www.marcjacobsfragrances.com

Hope you're all well

Hey dolls,
Missguided were shooting last week for some of their summer/autumn transitional pieces in the most spectacularly glamorous London house and I was there to help style and to vlog/blog the shoot!
There are some stunning pieces coming out, (see that sequin skirt?!) I was eyeing the jackets/coats in particular too!
The pieces will be out over the next few weeks & into mid-september so keep an eye out!
I still cant get over the location, It was decorated so vibrantly with splashes of colour, different textures and metallics dashed around the house, there was even a golden lift in the house!
It was again so lovely working with such a great team and I cannot wait to see the final images. I hope you like this sneak peek of the shoot and the new items from Missguided!

Hey dolls,
I have been the worst blogger in the world recently, I apologise! This summer has been absolutely crazy, I've been away from home alot and there have been quite a few changes happening, but they mean that I should be back to regular blogging soon and be totally immersed in Blogger and Youtube again!

I had some pictures from my trip to Cornwall a few weeks ago which I really wanted to share so I thought I would still put them up, I hope you like them, I went to Newquay with some of my family - It was so picturesque and quite relaxing (probably just because I didn't body-board or surf haha) - Also I have been living in my Converse recently, they are SO comfortable! Especially for travelling.

Back to regular blogging! Hope you're all well and are enjoying the summer still!

Hey dolls,
The other day I only had a minute to throw together a quick outfit to go out for a casual day, I had picked this dress up in the Topshop sale about two weeks ago, I love the print, especially because it would work for all four seasons. I cant wait to chuck on some thick tights with it for winter!
As you know I have also been wearing my converse like theres no tomorrow, I would love to wear heeled boots with this outfit too though, it would look more day-to-evening.

As it is still just about summer, Ive been loving super-casual and comfy outfits ^.^

Hope you're all well and are having a lovely long weekend!

Summer Lovin' | Marc Jacobs Daisy

Marc Jacobs - Daisy*

This perfume was my Go-to scent all summer. I had wanted to try this for so long, My sister got it last year and I would always sneak a little bit of hers when I saw her - Then I finally got my hands on it!
I was so happy to be able to try it out for myself and even though it was sent to me (I picked it out myself), its a scent I had been lusting over and I honestly love!
Daisy is a light, floral, feminine, playful and delicate scent which is perfect for spring and summer (Even though i'll keep wearing it all year round) I also love the 'Eau so fresh' version as I have it in rollerball form - Any variation of this perfume I seem to fall for. It lasts for a long time too.
As a product I have been using for months on end and have been loving, I really wanted to share it here on my blog and if you haven't given it a whiff yet please do so!
Its not the cheapest of perfumes (You could save money though on fragrance direct) but it is so worth the price, plus the packaging is adorable and looks so cute on my dressing table!

What was your summer Go-to scent? & What will be your Go-to autumn scent? I'd love to hear!

Hope you're all well,

Sammi xx

INGLOT Freedom Palette 350 / 390 / 456 / 465 / 348
Shu Uemura eyelash curlers

Hey dolls,
Its been a while since i've shared my updated go-to beauty items, Things have been quite crazy recently so I haven't been trialing too many new things but have stuck to some staples and this is what they have been.
I chose the shades of the INGLOT palette myself and they're perfect for me, they're wearable and varied incase I want a smokier look. I have been LOVING this mascara, I don't know how I didn't try it out before, great for volume and length.
This body oil smells delicious and sinks into the skin quickly giving you a subtle glow and the lipstick I have been reaching for all summer has been Modesty (I talk about many of these things in my recent favourites video)
The NARS multiple is a holiday-glow in a stick - it comes in so handy!

Lastly, I've been loving these lashes from MAC, They're the only MAC ones i've tried and I'm really pleased with them, They last quite a few wears and look so striking but still quite natural when applied.

Let me know what you have been reaching for too,

I'm sure our items are all about to change as it transitions into autumn!

Socks - Beyond Retro
Chain - Topshop

Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend alot of London fashion week this september (I know its still happening at the moment though) Its such a crazy time right now but I was able to go on friday and have a look around. Here is what I wore, This dress from MOTEL which I love, due to the print it catches quite a few looks - Its quite a fun piece to wear!
It was really chilly on friday so I wore my shaggy coat and Vagabonds as they are extremely comfy and give extra height. I didn't plan this outfit much in advance because I usually just go with what I feel like on the day and this is what happened. Its fun to switch it up sometimes!

(A big thanks to my mum for taking these snaps for me in the POURING rain!)

Hey dolls,
I know I know, I seem to start every post with 'sorry i've been away so long' and again I have to apologise for being so erratic with my posts. Im thinking of starting a schedule of some kind! I've been putting everything together at my new place recently and have literally been running around everywhere but i'm HOPING to get better from now!

I have been buying more home bits than clothes recently but I cannot ignore the bitter change in climate recently here in the UK - It has been freezing so I headed to Topshop recently for a winter coat and fell head over heels for this one.

I also picked up some other bits and I thought i'd share what i've been updating my wardrobe with lately. (Not much colour as per usual)

I absolutely love october even though it gets colder (ooh that rhymes), Im obsessed with Halloween so of course I'm fully embracing my love for wearing black - hoping you guys are too!

As soon as this dress arrived I popped it on and head out the door! Its so versatile as you can wear it during the day or for a night out, I wore it for dinner and a spot of shopping. I reached for my knee-highs for some added warmth and also thought faux-leather would work well with the velvet. I'm loving my bone/claw ring recently too as its so close to halloween! (Please excuse my skew-wiff socks in the last photo haha)

I've always loved silver rings and I have my usual go-to pieces that I tend to throw on day-to-day. Sometimes though I get a little bored of them and its nice to switch it up a bit. Recently i've started to layer my rings again (Probably due to the weather because I didn't like too much weight on my hands during summer)
I have been picking up some cute rings here and there while i've been out and Shop Dixi also sent over some rings from their new moon collection which I adore because thats right up my street!
I might do more 'Currently loving' types of posts, what do you guys think?
What have you been Loving recently?

I recently uploaded my October lookbook and this was my favourite look from the video, I thought I would share it here too. I adore this skort from Missguided, its so minimal, clean and trendy, but also affordable which is the most important thing!
I found these boots in H&M last week after searching for them in store for around a year and I literally leaped for joy! They give an edge to every outfit which I absolutely love.

KIEHLS Vitamin C Line-Reducing Concentrate

KIEHL'SPowerful Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate

Hey dolls,
This is one of those products that I kept feeling like I had blogged about before to share my opinion but I hadn't actually got round to it! This is a Vitamin C enriched skin serum which also claims to be line-reducing but I don't use it for that particularly.
I saw this product in stores around a year ago but wasn't sure it was for me and then I saw some Youtubers talking about it and shortly after I thought I would give it a try (The power of Youtube!)

I started by using it everyday, it says to use morning and night but I usually just use it at night when my skin is repairing instead of adding an extra layer to my skin during the day. Shortly after using it daily I switched to around once or twice a week- when I felt like my skin needed a boost or when I was breaking out.

What I like about this product is that it is quickly absorbed by my skin and sometimes i'll use a moisturiser on top but I also use it on, it can work well both ways. It sometimes can cause my skin to sting slightly if I apply it while I'm breaking out but I like that in a way because it feels like its working! (do you ever get that feeling too?) I feel like the mornings after I use it I can see a little extra radience from my skin and it has also lasted a long time and as its very expensive thats a good thing!

What I would say I dislike about this product would mainly be the price, I think it is a little overpriced and because there are so many serums on the market people would go for cheaper ones over this. Also it is defiantly something you only want to use when you need it, especially for younger skin because it is very strong so it might work better on more mature skin in general because of the Line-reducing too. (Also some have said its broken them out so just a heads-up to spot-prone people!)

If you want to try some Vitamin C products and are on a budget I'd defiantly recommend The body shop's range of products but if you have a little to splurge and are partial to serums i'd say to try out this product. Its been something I've reached for all throughout the year and I've liked having it in my skincare collection for when I've needed a Vitamin C boost.

Have you tried and this and what did you think?

What I Eat | Breakfast

$
0

I often post my meals on instagram and other social sites, which could be looked at as a little weird but I am just obsessed with food and I love cooking and making my meals look pretty! (I know, I need to get  out more) I get asked quite often what exactly it is that I eat on the regular and so I thought i'd share what my day-to-day breakfasts look like.

Yeo Valley 0% Yoghurt / Rude Health Almond & Hazelnut granola / Cocoa Nibs / Sunflower seeds / Chia seeds / Raspberries / Honey

Large Rolled oats porridge with water & almond milk / Peanut butter / cocoa nibs / sunflower seeds / raspberries / half a banana / cinnamon

(Yoghurt again, similar to the first photo, sometimes i'll have this with almond or soy milk instead of yoghurt) / Glass of water / Satsuma

Large bowl-mug from Butlers / Square bowl from IKEA

I don't ALWAYS have exactly this - its good to have some variety! I also change up which fruit I use seasonally, I love strawberries but they're obviously better in summer so I switch it up at this time of the year. I also love rye-bread, wholemeal toast, rice crackers, homemade smoothies and I love to spread almond or peanut butter on most things I eat! (All in moderation)

I love having a light and healthy but filling breakfast because it sets me up for a good day health-wise, If I start out good I usually go the rest of the day eating quite well, but I of course let myself have treats when I want them!

Let me know if you guys liked this and if you'd like to see what I have for lunch as a part II,

What is your healthy breakfast choice?

Decoration Details

I'm aware its December now and I'm SO excited to start christmas decorating!
However before I start 'crimboing' my place, I am still putting together the final touches here and there and as I am not planning to do a whole video on my interior or a whole blog post showing everything I thought to share just a few recent details.

The prints are from Italian art gallery Arte Limited and I picked them out from their website, They have so many beautiful pieces of art to choose from that it took me hours to decide and there are many other styles too, but I went for some splashes of colour as my place is primarily white so it defiantly needed an injection of saturation.

So the skull head has been named Elvis, he is from Home sense, If you like amazing pieces for a right bargain you NEED to go there! (Same company as TK Maxx)
I have this silver plate from Butlers on my coffee table and I have arranged some candles with this little book from UO as cute daily uplift to have around. Then I bought this Ray Charles vinyl from Camden market and I'm still deciding where to put it so for now its on the windowsil because it matches some other red accents in my flat.

Next time for something a little more christmassy but I hope you liked this little insight into what i've been placing in my home recently. I really do recommend Arte Limited if you are in the market for some prints for your home too, They arrived quickly and in perfect condition - the quality of them is amazing - I just need to frame all of them, waiting for another delivery and i'll be able to!
