THE NICOLE X MISSGUIDED DRESS

$

Dress - Missguided*
Heels - Missguided*
Clutch (similar) - Missguided*

I wore this look for a recent night out and it was inspired by the gorgeous Nicole Scherzinger X Missguided looks which were shot in LA for her recent line of clothes (Which is fab!)
I went for the bold eye look which I recreated on my channel too and I chose this black dress which is actually really comfy and a nice thick/elastic material.

I was going to mix some of my other accessories in with the dress, but Missguided had some lovely shoes and this clutch - so the whole thing has gone Missguided! They have great pieces all-round.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

PARIS Pt.1

My boyfriend Jason & I had been thinking for a little while that we'd love to take a short trip to Paris for the weekend and on the 4-6th April we upped and left for 'Parieeee!' (Sorry I know its so annoying, I keep/kept referring to it was Parieeee)

We wanted to do as many Parisian things as we could while there, well, for us that mainly meant trying food that we hadn't had before! On the first night we had a lovely French meal of Escargot & Rib of beef, then we head to Le Crazy Horse to see a Burlesque show. (As my Peckham nan would say 'ooooooaarrrr!')
I have to say, Escargot was....odd, Chewy and like a cross between the texture of squid and chicken - but with a garlic taste. I'm glad we tried it but I wouldn't jump at having it again!

These chips...oh my....the best chips we had both had in our LIVES!

On Saturday we started with breakfast at a little cafe' near our hotel (We stayed at the Hotel Opera Marigny which was lovely with very friendly staff!) Above was my meal and it was bloody delicious. I couldn't eat it all with the chips too for breakfast because for me thats a little heavy but this plus their coffee was tres' bon!

We then head to Point de L'archeveche' (The love lock bridge) to create our lock of love and we threw it into the river forever - Jason tried and failed to get a picture of it in the air (haha) but I did manage to get it on camera! We made a vlog of the trip which you can check out here.

We strolled along the riverside for a while, stopping at book stands & picturesque spots and then made our way to Le Marais which is what I describe as the Soho/Covent Garden of Paris, Cute little streets, quirky shops, beautiful restaurants and stylish folk were all around!

Cant not stop for burgers, Theres weren't the best ones but the area was lovely to sit & people watch

We popped in and out of some shops, grabbed bits of food and took in the music on the streets, the hustle bustle and the artwork that was all around.
I found some home bits in an awesome shop called 'Fleux' which reminded me of a cross between IKEA and TIGER, I bought this little light bulb vase & also that wooden hand you can see Jason fondling.

I will continue our trip in another post as I know this is quite picture heavy, I will have it up tonight for you guys!

Cardi - H&M

So I left off with that lovely piece of art on the floor from our strolls in Paris near La Marais, we then head back to the hotel to change, freshen up and go out again to experience the Eiffel Tower which was beautiful (We even saw someone propose on it!).

Then we had the most delicious black truffle ravioli ever at Bar Italia Brasserie - I highly recommend eating here if you're in Paris! An American couple stopped us on our stroll back to the restaurant after waiting 15 minutes for a free table and were excitedly telling us that we HAD to go and try the ravioli as it was like nothing else they'd experienced. So after that and lots of other rave reviews we had read we hot-footed it back to the restaurant where a man smoking a cigarette outside the place told us the same thing again!

We hopped in a taxi to St. Germain des prix on Sunday, which was more of a reserved and chilled area than Le Marais - It felt like quite an affluent area and was pretty, but unfortunately most shops were closed because it was sunday.
Nevertheless we found some cute stores, bought some gifts to bring home for the family and explored the little streets which lead us onto a bustling side-road brimming with restaurants and we sat and ate Muscles and frites while chatting to the lovely elderly couple next to us about travelling and food.
How cute is this little dog? I had to snap him/her!

If you check out our vlog from the trip you can see me trying out treats from this little cake shop above. I tried a Cronut for the first time and it was pretty damn mouthwatering!
That actually reminds me to find one back in London soon so I can have another!

It was a lovely little trip away, I adore travelling, exploring and meeting people from around the world. We did just the right amount of things with the time we had and had lots of amazing french food - oh that French food! *daydreams*

I'm off for a coffee and a croissant! (Its a lot earlier in the day when I'm writing this)

Hope you enjoyed our little French photo-diary!

CHUCK BURGER BAR

It was a very random tuesday evening and Jason & I were having to make a trip to Hatch End (I grew up around this area actually! It is next to Harrow and is NW outer-London)
Jason had heard of this new joint that had opened up called CHUCK burger bar and so we thought, well why not! Lets try it out. I started with a non-alcoholic mojito (well it was a tuesday!)

The place is decorated with trendy graffiti/wall drawings & dangling lights, the staff were very friendly and even though it was during the week the place was rather busy but we only had to wait around 10 minutes for a table.

We spent quite while umping and raring over the menu because there were quite a few delicious sounding items! In the end Jason went for the ribs and cheesy, bacon fries...

...and I went for the bacon cheeseburger with the sweet potato fries, which were just heavenly.

I quite thoroughly enjoyed it! The burger was soft, tender, juicy and cooked to perfection, the only thing it could have had was even more flavour without me adding sauces on top - I actually ended up having a few of Jasons ribs and they were some of the best i've had! I'd defiantly recommend the ribs.

Here is a rather intense shot of me 'going for' the burger - Just lovely haha!

It might not be accessible to some of you but if you are around the area its a nice little place to pay a visit to if you are a burger/meat fan. (I'm sure they did veggie options too even if you're not a meat lover)
Lovely atmosphere, quick service and scrumptious food!

Accidentally knocked this bike over a little - whoops!
Jumper - Monki
Shorts - Rokit
Scarf - Beyond Retro
Bag - Charity Shop

I took a trip to MISHKINS not too long ago, we vlogged our experience there on Easter weekend, it was my second time and once again I absolutely loved it. They are a 'Kind of Jewish-style Deli' - We had a slider & I had half a Reuben sandwich with some cream soda on the side.

We took a few snaps outside because I thought the front of their resturant was the cutest! As you can see I went for quite a white look, I went for my thrifted bag because I was wearing trainers and don't usually go for the sporty look but I think the scarf added just the right balance to bring a little bit of a heritage feel back to it and the colours happened to go!

Can you believe I am writing this from Australia! I am sat in my hotel room in Melbourne editing a vlog of the day and chatting with Tasha green!

I will have more up form here when I get everything off my cameras but bare with me guys! =]

Hope you're all well!

Melbourne Photo Diary

I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Australia for two weeks with friend & fellow youtuber Tasha Green! With the help & support of Tourism Australia and The body shop to discover two different parts of the country, share what we experienced out there and to meet a lot of lovely people.
A passion of mine in life is to travel - So I jumped at the chance!

First we explored Melbourne, On our first day we met the gorgeous and super friendly blogger Jasmin Howell from Friendinfashion. she showed us around the best streets for shopping and we saw some of the city's landmarks after stopping off at a little cupcake shop where she bought us some mini cupcakes ^.^
She also gifted us with some rings from her jewellery line 'byJasmin' which was so lovely of her.

Cardi - Urban Outfitters | Dress - Topshop | Boots - Urban Outfitters

We strolled down a street famous for its art splashed across the walls everywhere - Artists come all the time and add to the street-art. it made me wonder why we don't have this is london.

Amazing food at both 'Naked in the sky' and 'Joes' in St Kilda, round the corner from where we were staying at the Cosmopolitan hotel (Which we would highly recommend). These were the best ribs I had EVER had. Melbourne food was simply amazing!

We took a visit to The Green olive at Red Hill - A farm where they grow all of their own produce and also run a restaurant and a little shop. You could smell the fresh product as soon as you walk into the restaurant and it was all so organic & flavourful. We spoke to owner Greg who showed us how everything worked and who also showed me how his coffee machine worked and made us all a short latte - My favourite!

I found Melbourne to be a bright, vibrant but also slightly grungy city. The people could be quite eclectic and I didn't find there to be a certain clothing style about the place but people dressed in styles taken from many different places.

I noticed there there is a fondness for their own Australian designers and boutiques and that cupcakes, chocolate shops and pressed juices are the talk of the town. There is a large mix of different cultures and there are trams heading up and down the streets which add such a lovely touch of character.

The weather was just like London though, as we visited during their Autumn but that was okay with us as we are quite used to it!

Thank you Melbourne for having us!

The Great Barrier Reef

After doing our Melbourne meet-up (which went fantastically, thank you to everyone who came!) We hopped onto two different planes to reach Airlie beach in Queensland.
This is the gateway to access the great barrier reef and Whitsundays Islands.

We took a trip on the sailing boat 'Siska' which was an overnight affair. We swam with fish, visited the Silica sand beach, paddled with sting rays, photographed the swirly waters and spoke to Nicki who worked on the Siska about the working visa - She is from Surrey but has been in Oz for a long time now and is loving life working hard on the boat.

My highlight of the whole trip apart from the meet up was the Reef sleep - In the day we settled on a large pontoon floating amidst the Great barrier reef, we did some snorkling, even had a massage! and then come nighttime we were served dinner on the pontoon and then went up to our 'swags', zipped ourselves up and fell asleep under the Milky way (I even saw some shooting stars!)

I have to add - These were my first poached eggs EVER at 'Salt' in Airlie beach. They were lovely!

Check out Tasha's Australia Vlogs too here

Airlie beach is a beautiful area, dotted with palm trees, people on their travels and many bars and restaurants along the main road. I have never seen sunsets quite like the ones I saw in Queensland.

What was insightful though was talking to the people working on the sea, about the working visas - I spoke to the captain on the boat which takes you to the pontoon all about the reef, it's future and how we can help preserve it.

I will have more information on my vlogs soon also! I wanted to say another thank you to Tourism Australia and The body shop for making this possible for Tasha& I.

Two very different parts of Australia which are both appealing and beautiful in their own ways,

Yesterday I went uptown to meet Tasha who I hadn't seen since Australia - She was heading to the Maybelline event which was held in St Martins Lane Hotel (Which had some super fun, what I like to call...props at the entrance...I might have Instagrammed)

She asked if I would like to pop along too and I thought, golly gosh why not?! There were amazing bites of food laid out, multicoloured macaroons, mini burgers, fruit, tea and coffee, wholemeal scones....ahem, well the event wasn't for the food but I get a little carried away.

Maybelline are releasing some new items and the nail varnishes caught my eye in particular, I had my nails done while I was there which is always a treat, Im wearing the new bright blue shade which is called 'Uptown blue', it was super popular at the event!

It was so lovely to see Tasha, ArabellaGolby, Lexi from Sototallyvlog/Fashionfilth while I was there and I got to meet Becca Rose too!

Things got a little nuts with the camera - It was fun!

I have to take a moment to tell you about some of my recent obsessions. You know when you're not planning on loving something so much, but it comes into your life....and you never want to take it/them off? This 'skort' and this bag...oh mama!

I saw this skirt on the Urban outfitters website whist I was looking for some summery/festival wear and the tartan print caught my eye straight away, it is lovely soft and a quite thick yet lightweight material and the way it falls is very flattering, making the most of any curlew that you have by skimming over them and shaping your body nicely in an A-line flow.

The top I actually stole from my sister Danni, she said it was too big for her so I nabbed it, its from UO too but I couldn't find a link so I have linked something similar below. The flats are becoming my favourite go-to shoes and are ones I grabbed from Topshop quite a while ago now and this bag...*drool* is real leather, its Vegabond and is a delight to wear.
It fits in everything that I need and I absolutely love it because it goes with everything and also looks smart but is very versatile. Thats it!

Oh I also wanted to give a little shout to the Urban Outfitters festival campaign incase any of you are interested.

You can win prizes with the UO 'Pick of the best festival' all this summer - It includes festivals in the UK, VIP tickets, travelling abroad to places like Croatia and Paris with flights and hotels covered and a chance to be kitted out with tons of their festival wear!

Its all happening over on their festival page (Link Here) so maybe give it a little look-see! Its super easy to enter.

Thats it from me! I wish you all a lovely long weekend!

So I have absolutely no idea whats happening with my face. I look like a deranged man...but what can you do. I like this outfit!
I chucked it on this weekend as Jason & I head out the door, it was quite a manic weekend and quite a camera-focused one (da dum cha)
I was after a new camera which I could use for vlogging and Jason was looking for a camera/lens so we went up to the Jessops on Oxford street.

We also took a really quick trip to Hoxton square where I dragged him into The breakfast club (I didn't manage to get any pictures but I Instagrammed!)
We walked round the corner and into Goodhood which has now become one of my favourite shops, Its incredible!
I had been lusting over these Doc Marten shoes for months and months and finally took the delve.

We had to venture up to the same street on a different day trying to hunt down a specific camera part and so on the way up there I spotted a home store on Tottenham court road called West elm which looked rather spiffing..and again...dragged Jason in.
We both oooooh'ed over bits and bobs in the store and I came out with these items, I couldn't resist!

Then...Bacon.

This is the beaut I ended up purchasing for vlogging and bringing around with me to events and to anywhere and everywhere really.
Its The Sony Alpha A5000

Then It was Jason's friend's birthday so we were invited to an awesome Live music bar called Hootanannies in Brixton and afterwards we head over to The Blues Kitchen in Camden to have a further few drinks with Jason's good friend Michael who is also lead singer of Mavis - Amazing music, Check out their videos here.

It was a good weekend! I wanted to bring the camera out with us to see how it would shoot in low light and also because I get ridiculously excited about cameras so just couldn't wait really but I think the pictures came out quite well!
Loving the camera so far and the flip screen is perfect for vlogging!

Hope you all had a great bank holiday too!

Last week I popped over to Windsor for the pre-opening night at The Real Greek in Windsor, The place was filled with canapés, waiters whizzed round topping up bubbly and serving lamb meatballs, king prawns and lots of yummy Greek treats.

I went with my family because they don't live far away and afterwards we walked round the corner to Bella Italia where we shared two starter platters because after all the light bites we weren't feeling so...light (They were delicious & far too tempting!).
I have more pictures from the night at the restaurant so I'll probably be uploading them too but outfit first!

Light Year

Just a little nail varnish update,

I was having a nose through all of the nail polishes at American Apparel the other week and I bought a few which you can see above. I might go into detail about the others too in the future but there is one which I am favouring right now - in a slightly crazy way.

(The others are Gold flash, Coney island & Hassid)

I couldn't care less about rules saying its best to wear glitter just for christmas etc - I saw it....and I bought it!

It is....Light year.

The chunks of glitter are big, bold, holographic, multicoloured & a whole-lotta goodness.

The formula I am really impressed by because it only took one layer to get the glitter that you see on my nails so if you like it super glittery you can apply two but I really like how the one layer turned out. It didn't take too long to dry either.

I wore it over a nude varnish (Essie's Sand Tropez) and it has just become my new obsession.

I wish you all a lovely weekend!

Last week I had the chance to pop along to Graduate fashion week which was held at the Old truman brewery in Shoreditch. I was there to attend the 'Best of graduates' fashion show which was simply amazing.

I'm a lover of style and fashion but I tend to take a lot more inspiration from people on the streets / bloggers than I do catwalk shows - Sometimes I find them a bit OTT...but! This one sucked me right in and was so vibrant, current and inspiring.

I made two videos which you can check out here and here. My favourite of the shows were Camilla Grimes, Lauren Lake & Hannah Donkin.

This is what I threw on that morning, I really wish I had planned a really fancy outfit or something as it was fashion week but most of the time...i'll be honest...i'm really lazy/forgetful! So this was it for the day!

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend, I'm so glad the sun is out for us in the UK!

I'm off to whip on a dress, some sandals and find a cute pub garden or cafe to drag Jason to!

Sunday In Notting Hill

Hat - Urban Outfitters

I absolutely love notting Hill, in particular of course, Portobello Road which is insanely popular on saturdays due to the market which is never-ending but more often then not I find myself strolling Portobello on a sunday.
I'm not a lover of big crowds and stress (even though sometimes its fun at markets) and sunday in this area is buzzing (lightly), bright, calming and rather jolly if i do say so myself!
We drove down, parked up and dipped in and out of a few shops before heading into PIX which is a spanish tapas bar, where mounds of delicious bite-size morsels tempt you as you arrive. We sat down and then went to go and help ourselves to what was on offer.

I found this slide in a Jigsaw store and just had to go down it...we did some further strolling, took some outfit photos and then gave in to our continuing hunger and went to our favourite place in London so far for pizza - Luna Rossa.

We Ordered many many starters, well, they were more like tapas - Thats how the waiter explained them...long live tapas!
Check out those mini octopus things (great vocab) I tried one, it was very 'leggy'. We loved the green beans and tomatoes, I also loved the artichoke.

But then...the main event

Woah mama. When you order a pizza with someone else they can bring it out for you all on one and you just pull what you desire from the board in front of you. These pizzas are IMMENSE. The base is so light, fresh and crispy, the cheese is flavourful and the toppings...I can't explain! Mine was the sausage with spinach and Jason had some sort of ham with fresh rocket and tomatoes.

We couldnt be happy with only one choice so we also got Pasta to share! We went for pasta with truffle oil, sausage and mushroom and it was just mouthwatering.
Highly recommend this restaurant! Its just behind Portobello road, next to a biscuit shop (Biscuiteers) which is also just the cutest place ever.

We couldn't even finish all of the pizza so we took it home in a box and dug back in later. Oh Pizza - It makes my soul happy!

I'll be posting about my outfit from Sunday soon too so stay tuned!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend & are still enjoying the sun!

If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen that recently I took a little trip to Ibiza with River Island X Pacha - It was one of the best experiences I have had.

I met so many beautiful, stylish and friendly bloggers on the trip, all from different parts of Europe. We strolled the old town, took a boat trip to Formentera where we had dinner in a beach resturant with our feet sunk into the sand.
We went to Pacha nightclub one night and Lio another - A restaurant where there is entertainment throughout the night with singing, dancing and mini-shows. We also stayed at the Destino resort which was picture perfect, it didn't even seem real!

I wanted to document the trip, I love visiting new types of places and meeting new people. We filmed and shot some footage for River Island and Grazia so that was super exciting, hopefully you can all see some of it soon!

On the last day we visited the Atzarospa spa which was like a dream, I had a full body massage and then a fresh orange juice while sitting by the pool followed by lunch - is this actually how some people live? It was unreal! I feel so lucky to have gone and experienced it all.

I hope you guys like these images, Ibiza is insanely beautiful!
