Clarisonic Mia 2 | First Impressions

Hey dolls,
The other week I popped along to a Clarisonic event where we had a talk about the new Clarisonic Mia 2 and also had a mini demonstration on how it is used and how it is different to its predecessor.
If you are not familiar with the Clarisonic it is basically a handheld cleansing brush which sonically massages your skin, it is supposed to improve your skins circulation, even out skin tone, clear away traces of makeup/impurities, clear scars and marks on the face and minimise breakouts (Plus even more).
The first Clarisonic models were the original model, which you can attach a body brush to also and then the Mia - Now there is the Mia 2. The new model features two speeds, It pulses to let you know when to move on to the next area of your face (which is one minute in total) and it comes with a handy travel case.

Have I noticed a difference?
I have been using the Clarisonic now for around two weeks, For just over a week I used it day and night and now I just use it at night as I feel it cleanses off last traces of makeup amazingly. I have noticed that my skin has a much more even complexion and also appears brighter and more glowy, some dark patches which were previously apparent on my skin have been reduced, however I have broken out from using it (Which is extremely normal at first, its sometimes called 'skin purging' as it draws out the impurities from deep within the skin) So i'm waiting for that to clear up at the moment and then i'll see how it performs over a longer amount of time.

Would I recommend it/is it worth the price?
The price is what held me back from purchasing a Clarisonic for SO long. I had always been interested but unsure wether it was worth it. I defiantly think it is worth the money and it is an effective and very handy piece of equiptment. I am always excited to use it at the end of the day, I find it a fun step in my otherwise mundane nightly makeup removal routine.

I know I babbled quite a bit, I could type forever sometimes haha but i'll leave it there for now,

This is another of my 'everyday' kind of outfits, I was just running some errands and kind of threw it together. Its been quite chilly recently and I realised when I headed out that I should have added a scarf! but anyhow, perhaps its an idea for how to style a maxi skirt for autumn.

This outfit was part of my autumn fashion trends video on youtube (and slightly adapted as I thought black & gold also look gorgeous together) which I have included above incase you wanted to see =]

I have fallen head over heels for this MOTEL dress, It is STUNNING! It looks even better in person. I feel so comfortable in it as I dont often like to get my arms out and also the low back still hides your bra and its not too revealing at the front - Perfect!
The bag is the perfect night-out size and colour too, I have been in need of some bags in a different colour other than black recently and this one is so cute and classy!

Its not often I post more nighttime outfits so I thought it might be a nice change.

The LUSH Magnaminty

Hey dolls,
I thought I would just write a little post on one of my all-time favourite face masks - The mask of Magnaminty. Quite spur of the moment, but I feel like if there is anyone who hasn't tried this yet, I need to tell them about it!
I like this mask for so many different reasons, here they are;

- It smells of minty-freshness
- It works well for my Combo-oily skin type
- You can also use it on the body
- It dosent go off quickly like the LUSH fresh face masks
- It helps clear up my blemishes when I break out
- It exfoliates as you remove it

So without rambling on too much about why I like it, I just want to say if you like minty masks and are in the market for a new face mask, Maybe try this baby out for size! Its a staple for me and I feel like its not talked about too much but is a lovely product and is not too strong or offensive on the skin like some LUSH products can be.

I have been dying for a chance to wear this Coco Fennell dress, today wasn't a special occasion as such but its been a busy day and I thought I would go with this number. It fits like a glove and skims over my hips very flatteringly (is that a word?), Its so comfy to wear!
Oh also...please don't mind my odd socks...maybe setting a new trend? Probably not haha but I was in such a rush this morning!

I posted a night-out type of look not too long ago and I thought the response was lovely! (thanks guys!) So I thought i'd throw another one atcha! You could obviously wear this type of thing with tights as its FREEZING at the moment, but I thought i'd just go all out. This dress a stunner from Ohmylove, I was surprised at first as it looks alot nice on than off and its very versatile, If I didn't go for this coat i'd style with a leather jacket and sheer tights.

Hey dolls,
I thought I would take advantage of the beautiful autumnal scenery around me for this post and so its alot more colourful than my other posts, hurrah!
I know dungarees are a little marmite, they bring alot of people back to their childhood (maybe hence me playing in the leaves) but I have been inspired this year by the likes of Alexa Chung, who styles them so effortlessly and so I sometimes dig them out and sport a pair.
You may have noticed I added and took away a belt, I was just playing around with the look! I like it without a little better I think =]

My Current Makeup Bag

Hey guys,
Today I thought we could take a little delve into whats hiding inside my makeup bag at the moment. I probably don't need to say this but I didn't change any of the contents when I grabbed it for this post, Hence a lot of random and extra things were in there that I didn't even realise!
So lets delve a little deeper...

Okay, God knows why I need THREE Lip treatments! They are all great though especially with the cold weather at the moment.

Now, again...Someone needs to tell me why I have so many pencils in my bag! I don't even use most of them on a daily basis to be honest! They are all colours which I tell myself I 'might need one day' - They can sometimes come in handy!

I seem to like my reddish-pinks at the moment! This body shop lipstick is a new favourite of mine (Shade 13), The two MAC Lipsticks are Plumful + Plink

Miscellaneous Items! My current favourite powder, I always carry lash glue around with me even though i never wear them in the day and I like to carry a mini perfume sample around, Because you never know! At the moment its Chloe, its gorgeous!

Hey dolls,
This post was a little delayed but this was just a casual, running errands outfit which I slung together. I really wanted to wear this new Topshop jumper of mine and I think it looks great as part of an all-black outfit as I really love the texture it gives due to the knit.
Yesterday I took part in an ever-so-exciting shoot over at Missguided! Pictures soon to follow - You guys should be seeing all the results from that day soon. I got to meet some of my favourite bloggers too! but before I ramble too much here, I'll leave it all for that post ;)

NEXT | New York Perfume

Hey dolls, 
I hope you are all having a lovely Sunday evening, I wanted to just give a little ramble/review of this new perfume which is from NEXT, I have mixed feelings!
Now to be honest, NEXT isn't somewhere I shop often, I don't think the clothes are my style atall, If I go in there its usually to their homeware section as they do have some really cute things! I'm massively into perfume though so I was defiantly interested in trying this baby out. 

Its not the type of scent I usually go for, Im terrible at explaining scents so i'll include how they explain it;

'A radiant, white floral fragrance with elegant jasmine and sun-kissed orange blossom. In spiring and cosmopolitan, this blend captivates and engages the senses.'

It is defiantly quite a strong jasmine based scent, whereas I usually go for a vanilla/exotic vibe. Its really nice to have something a little different in my collection for those days where you are sick of the same old scents.
Aesthetically I really love the bottle, I think its very current and classy and would look really cute purched on my dressing table. 
The down side of this scent to me is that when its first sprayed it is very strong (to me), which I dont like but its nice once it settles in. Also I dont think it lasts very long atall, after 2/3 hours its pretty much disappeared - as its a small little bottle though it actually wouldn't be too bad to carry around with you to top up throughout the day.

So overall I quite like this little fragrance, Its something I'd use when I want a change but I dont love it more than my fave perfumes (Miss Dior cherie/CHANEL Eau tendre) by a long shot! Maybe give it a whiff next time you're in NEXT, I also have tried out the MILAN Room diffuser and I really like that! They seem to have brought out some really nice products recently which would be great for christmas.

This outfit has quite a 'rock chic' vibe to it I think, which I didn't particularly mean to happen! I think its the t-shirt along with the faux fur. As you guys know I dont wear too much colour but these trousers are such a nice autumn muted colour they make it quite easy. They are disco pant-esque but are quite a bit thinner than the AA version. You could easily dress this down with some comfy Converse!

Hey Guys,
A few nights ago I had the opportunity to go to see Rihanna at her 777 tour in London where she performed some songs from her new album 'Unapologetic' (Which I quite like!) along with some of her biggest hits/classics. It was c/o Livenation so a massive thanks so them! I jumped at the chance because i'd never been to a Rihanna concert before and this was quite a small intimate one which I thought was really cool! We had a great time there + I LOVED her outfit!
Anywho - long intro aside, this is what I wore on the night, I wasn't going to dress up to the nines but I also wanted to look kind of put-together and also to be warm as i'd be travelling around London quite late at night. Faux fur is my saviour! I love the neon beanie because it keeps me warm whilst being on trend but it also dressed down the outfit too.

What do you think of Rihanna's new album? Were you at the tour?

Hey dolls,
Happy sunday! Having such a lazy/cozy one today, (Ran some errands earlier but chilling now!) I havent been feeling myself over the last few days so i've been loading up on treats! Later i'm also going to make this....oh my god, My mouth is watering already!
This was my outfit today, Kind of thrown together. I hadn't worn this shirt for a while and I was going to sling a leather jacket over it but tried on my black collar and it kept me warm enough for the day, I thought it looked quite nice! ^_^ (Oh I must say! I didnt wear these boots out to town, I wore my ebay spiked babies but I love these boots so much and I think they go well with this outfit! If I had the chance to go somewhere a little more dressy I would have defiantly have worn them out!)

The Missguided bloggers lookbook

Hey dolls!
I've had a bit of bloggers-block recently and I apologize for the lack of posts, Life has been getting a bit 'cray' and i'm also currently vlogging every day (vlogmas) incase any of you are interested!

The other week I had the amazing opportunity to take part in a Bloggers lookbook with Missguided at their head offices and studios in Manchester and above are some of the final images from the shoot! Everybody's outfits, laid out ready for the shoot


We nibbled on strawberries and sipped on some bucks fizz whist we styled out outfits - yummy!

Here are my outfits laid out, I was still deciding on accessories

Kavita and I chatting while choosing what to wear, She is SO lovely! And her style is impeccable too!

I fell in love with these heels, so badass! They are also surprisingly comfortable

The styling rails - We could choose out 3 outfits from here - We were in heaven!

We then went downstairs to the Missguided kitchen and had the most beautifully laid out brunch I had seen - It looked way too good to eat!

The team at Missguided surprised us with customised hangers with our names on! We even got to take them home, mine is hanging proudly in my room!



I was shown this image during the day - They were watching my latest video down at the offices, crazy!

So as I mentioned before, I had the chance to meet and work with four other fashion bloggers Kavita, Lydia, Heather& Charlene and I was so excited for this! Everyone was SO friendly, genuine and we all had a good laugh together!
I took the taxi there from the station with Kavita and it was great to have a good old chin-wag with her! I have been smitten on her blog and style for months and months and I have to say she is such an awesome girl - She is so down-to-earth and is funny too!
I also got the train Back with Charlene who I got to know a little more too but we were so tired on the way back to London that we were nodding off on the train near the end haha!
{Ooh I also wanted to say - Im sure most of the items I wore on the shoot are available online now, If not they will be very soon}

I know i've spoken alot in this post already, But I want to say a huge thank you to Sara and everybody at Missguided for making this possible, Its feels surreal to be on the Missguided website and I'm so excited about it! I hope you guys like it too and can find it fun and interesting.

Haven't the girls got style!! ^_^

Now I do really apologise for the lighting and quality of photos in this post, It was getting dark at the time but I really wanted to photograph this outfit!
I think this skirt from Lashes of London is such an awesome statement piece. Metallic and skater-style, two of my favourite things of the moment. Its such good quality and holds its shape really well, I also wore it in my last fashion video on my yt channel if you wanted to check it out there.

I am currently collaborating with Boohoo to bring you this little black dress, three ways! I will be styling it in two more ways soon. I personally love 'one item - different ways' posts/videos so I thought you might all like it too, I hope so!
This look is tailored for a christmas party of some kind and is the most simplistic way I would wear it. No worries if you want a look which is a little warmer, I'll defiantly be layering one of them up!

Hope you liked this post (Again i'm so sorry for the lighting, i've been a little ill recently so couldn't bring myself to do this outside in the cold! Also it gets dark so quickly now which is a bummer!)

The NUDE Skincare

I have been testing out these products for a few weeks now and I have really been enjoying them so I thought I would give them a little review and tell you guys what I think!

I believe NUDE is quite a new skincare line and I have seen their products in SpaceNK and also John Lewis recently - They are more on the 'high end' price wise, as you can see above! But are they worth it?

Treatment oil
This is possibly the most luxurious feeling oil I have used on my skin thus far, I use it overnight in place of my moisturiser and i'm sure its reminiscent of the Estee Lauder Advanced night repair which I have always wanted to try. 
This is rich in Omega oils too (3,6,7 & 9) which makes me feel that i'm doing alot of good for my skin and with the perception of 'natural' skincare changing alot these days with all the different products around, I feel this one genuinely gives my skin a bit of what it needs!
The morning after I use this my skin feels much plumper and has a natural glow about it which is always good! It makes my skin feel extra soft and dosent sit on the skin but sinks in well (even with my combo-oily skin). I personally think the price is pretty high! It would be a lovely present to someone or a great big treat to yourself! 

Perfect cleansing oil
I think the price of this product is much more reasonable and I also think this product works wonders! Things I always put into consideration when looking to purchase a new skincare product. 
It removes my eye and face makeup incredibly - Even waterproof makeup. It is light and gentle on the skin and is very easy to use. It comes with a pump so is very hygienic and I also love the packaging! If you are looking for a new cleansing oil I defiantly recommend this one =] (I actually enjoyed using it more than my Shu Uemura cleansing oil)

Cellular Renewal serum
Now this product is the highest in price out of the three and I will share what I can about it but I feel that I want to try it out for even longer before giving you a total/full review. I do really love this product so far, I use it morning and night, before my moisturiser. This serum sinks into the skin like no other! It disappears so fast so no time is wasted waiting around until you can apply your next cream/makeup product. The cap of this product and also the treatment oil has a built-in Pipette so you can squeeze out exactly how much product you want which is super-handy. As I said, I need to use this a little more to get a full idea but at the moment I think the price is a little too high personally!

Overall I think these are very nourishing, luxurious and effective products, defiantly worth a try - They made a noticeable difference to my skin after only using them for a short amount of time. I love the packaging and I also like that they are not too heavily scented. I think the only thing here is maybe the price point, the two treatments would defiantly be 'special' buys!

Hey dolls,
This is my second look styling this Pleather dress from Boohoo, This time I went for more of a glitzy look with one of my favourite pieces of the moment - My sequin blazer! I wore tights for a little extra warmth and I also thought these ears were the cutest thing! They would be the perfect touch for a themed party or just for a bit of fun =]
I played around with this look a little bit, adding a belt and a fur collar eg. - I love having fun with outfits whilst shooting! This dress is on sale on the Boohoo website right now if you wanted to get your hands on it, its very versatile and is actually really comfy!
One more look to come...look out for it very soon!

Hey guys!
So this is my last post styling this BooHoo pleather dress! As I said before its actually on sale at the moment if you wanted to nab it! This time I went for a slightly more edgy look with a tailored and studded jacket from SisterSaviour and these badass heels! I think the sherling collar finishes this look off nicely as it contrasts with all the black that is going on!
